Jason Foundation Affiliate Office opening at National Deaf Academy in Mount Dora, FL

The Jason Foundation, Inc. (JFI) and its National Clinical Affiliate, Psychiatric Solutions, Inc. are proud to announce the opening of the newest Jason Foundation affiliate office at National Deaf Academy on October 21, 2009 in Mount Dora, FL. Clark Flatt, President and CEO of The Jason Foundation, said, “I am looking forward to opening our affiliate office in Mount Dora, Florida at National Deaf Academy. Working together, we will save lives!”

The Jason Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of the “Silent Epidemic” of youth suicide through educational and awareness programs for young people, educators, parents, and other community groups. JFI, headquartered in Hendersonville, TN, was founded on October 1, 1997 after the tragic death of Jason Flatt, the youngest son of JFI President/CEO Clark Flatt. Currently, there are over 90 Jason Foundation affiliate offices located across the country.

The Jason Foundation educational and awareness programs include a school-based program for students, staff development training for educators, seminars for parents, community based presentations, web-based programs and a resource line. All JFI programs are provided at no cost to participants in this service area.
